Manali :
The Queen of hill stations, Manali with its proximity to snowline has emerged as a popular destination for honeymooners. Houses the most important temple in the region, the Hadimba Temple and the Buddhist monasteries

Kullu :
The most charming and beautiful Kullu valley, famous for its exquisitely woven colourful hand made shawls and kullu caps is a place for enchanting view of the Himalayas and an expression of the Himalayan culture.

Rohtang Pass : 
The highest point- 4,112m, on the Manali-Keylong road and 51-km from Manali town, the Rohtang Pass provides a breath-taking panoramic view of mountains and offers skiing and trekking opportunities. The pass is open from June to September, although trekkers can cross the pass from May.

Solang valley :
The venue for the annual skiing courses, Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. The 12-km hike up the western banks of the Beas to the Solang Valley is noteworthy.

Kasol :
Beautiful and picture perfect Kasol is a small village at the bank of Parvati river with well-kept streets, simple houses and smiling local people. The village has a lovely setting among pine trees and river.

Manikaran :
A place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Sikhs, Manikaran has a temple and a gurudwara. The water from the steaming springs is noted for its healing properties. The springs in the area are hot enough to boil rice. It is also a good spot for trout fishing.

Naggar :
About an hour's drive from Manali, is the very pleasant village of Naggar . It's fairly popular with visitors who come to see the castle – evidence of Naggar's former glory days as capital of the Kullu Kingdom , now a Himachal Pradesh Tourism Hotel. Another attraction is the Roerich gallery, a little outside the village Naggar, which shows the art of the late Nicholas Roerich, a Russian painter of International repute.

Kothi :
A beautiful and quiet spot, this place is famous for movie picturisation and resting resort for poets, writers and lovers of peaceful environments. The rest house here overlooks the narrow valley and commands views at the mountains.


Vaishisht :
Vaishisht, boasts a pair of old stone temples, dedicated to the local patron saint Vashista. The temple tanks are underground hot-water/sulfur springs.

Arjun Gufa :
On the left bank of the Beas , 5-km from Manali 'Arjun Gufa' or the cave of Arjuna , is a touch of history in the Himalayas . In these caves, the great archer Arjuna practiced austerities to get Pashupata Ashtra (weapon) from Lord Indra.

Old Manali :
Famous for its orchards and old guesthouses, Old Manali is worth a visit. There is ruined fort here by the name of Manaligarh and the Manu Maharishi Temple , dedicated to sage Manu.

Marhi :
A mountain plateau surrounded by lush green meadows strewn with myriad wild flowers. 15 km. short of the 13,050 feet high Rohatang Pass on the Manali-Leh road, lies one of the most picturesque places in Manali region.

Mountaineering Institute :
Set up in 1961 A.D., this institute imparts training in basic and advanced courses of mountaineering. Institute speedily gaining prominence for conducting adventurous sports - rock climbing, high altitude trekking and skiing. 

KATRAIN : The central and the widest part of the valley, Katrain is 20 kms from Kulu on way to Manali. Apple orchards and trout hatchery lend charm and prominence to the place. It is also famous for bee keeping and Govt. trout farm at Patilkulh.

Arjun Gufa(CAVE): 4kms. from Manali towards Naggar, the cave is situated near Prini village 1km. above the road where Arjun had meditated. This is good 1/2 a day excursion with charming view of the brilliant mountains.

BAJAURA:
15 kms short of Kulu, Bajaura is on the main road where BASHESHWAR MAHADEV temple is situated about 200 m from the village in a plain between the main road and the Beas river. It is believed to have been built in the mid 8th century.

How to get there


By Train: The nearest rail head is Chandigarh which is 320 km away.

By Air: The nearest airport is Bhunter which is about 50 km and 10 Km beyond Kullu.
By Road: It is well connected by road from Chandigarh and Delhi and situated on National Highway No 21. Regular buses, coaches and taxies play from Delhi and Chandigarh. You can take route from Ambala direct to kharar and Ropar and need not go to Chandigarh, if you are coming from DElhi.
